Yes, you can! Our consortium members deliver both remote (online training) and classroom training. Have a look at the course you're interested in, the orange box will say either 'remote' or the area where the classroom training is taking place. You can also mix up remote and classroom training so train where it's convenient for you.
Prices vary. Remote Driver CPC training is usually cheaper and prices can start from around £40.00 including the DVSA upload fee. Prices for classroom-based courses can be a little more. Some of our members offer a discount if you buy 35 hours of training in one go.
A single day’s Driver CPC training must last 7 hours to count towards your 35 hours. Some training days are made up of two separate 3½ hour modules taken within a 24 hour period.

Expect to pay for your own Driver CPC training as there is no requirement for employers to pay. That said most of the operators I know do pay for the Driver's CPC training. Make sure you ask when starting employment.
Yes it does. Any on job training comes under scope of working time and should be recorded on your tachograph as Other Work.
Your employer must keep a record of all your Driver CPC training. However, only you can gain access to check your training records via the .gov website. You can do this here.
Your Driver Certificate of Professional Competence ( CPC ) qualification lasts for 5 years. To keep your Driver CPC you need to do 35 hours of training before your 5-year deadline
No, and yes. You are not permitted to take the same course twice in any 5 year period. However, if you do need to take a course twice and you have a good reason to, you can resit a Driver CPC training course. For example, you may need to take Drivers' Hours because you're still unsure. Just let your training provider know, in writing, so you both have a record of the request.
It is not possible to bank CPC hours beyond your current 5-year period. For example, if you have a card that expires in September 2019 but have completed 35 hours by September 2017, you won't be able to start your next cycle of training until after the expiry date.
It's not ideal but there is no provision to say you are not allowed. Bear in mind you must be in a suitable environment to take your training.
